About the Role:
Working as part of a collaborative and supportive People and Culture team and reporting to an experienced People and Culture Manager, this role is varied, dynamic, and full of learning opportunities for an up and coming professional. With exposure to all areas of People and Culture, this is a prime opportunity to develop your knowledge base in a family-owned business.
Alternatively, the more experienced professional could potentially perform this role on a part-time basis.

We have offices in all 3 of the east coast major cities and we are still growing. This role is located within the Brisbane Airport Precinct as a site-based position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist to manage the entire employee lifecycle, focusing on induction and onboarding, rostering, performance management, award compliance, training and development.
- Provide advice and support to managers and employees on employment related queries, legislation, and company policies.
- Maintain employee records, the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and assist with payroll processing.
- Assist to review, develop, implement and monitor internal policies, guidelines, procedures and processes.
- Assess training needs of individual employees and teams.
- Collaborate with the People and Culture team to coordinate end to end recruitment activities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and proactively identify improvements.
Skills and Experience:
- 1-2yrs experience in a human resources generalist, or human resources administrative role, together with a tertiary qualification in a Human Resources field (or studying towards, at minimum).
- Familiarity with human resources processes and legislation (with exposure to rostering and payroll desirable).
- Exposure to a HRIS/ EMS system (Employment Hero desirable).
- Clear and effective verbal communication with strong written proficiency.
- Strong initiative, attention to detail and accuracy.
- High levels of professionalism, discretion, honesty and reliability.
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
