General Operations Manager

About Beautopia Hair and Beauty

Beautopia is a growing, multi-site trade and retail hair and beauty product business .With multiple locations and more on the horizon, we're at an exciting stage of transformation — and we're looking for a strong General Operations Manager to help.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for someone who is process-driven, structure-oriented, and eager to create sustainable operational frameworks that support growth, efficiency, and consistency across all our locations.

As our General Operations Manager, you'll report directly to the CEO and work closely with store managers and our operational managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and monitor operational systems, policies, and procedures across all retail locations
  • Establish clear KPIs and reporting structures to monitor store performance
  • Take responsibility of our warehouse and create efficiencies and structures.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations with a focus on consistency, compliance, and customer experience
  • Lead and mentor store managers, ensuring alignment with company standards and culture
  • Collaborate with leadership to streamline supply chain, inventory management, staffing, and scheduling
  • Identify gaps and inefficiencies and proactively introduce scalable solutions
  • Ensure all stores operate smoothly and profitably, maintaining high standards across the board

What We're Looking For

  • 8 + years' experience in retail and head office operations management, ideally in a multi-site environment
  • Proven track record of building or improving operational structures and processes
  • Strong leadership and communication skills — you're a builder and a motivator
  • Financial mindset with the ability to turn metrics into improvements
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience with retail systems (POS, inventory, workforce management software) is a plus
