About the Role:
As our Regulatory Affairs Manager
(internally graded as Associate Manager, Regulatory Affairs
) you'll be playing a hands-on role in ensuring product compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
You'll be an expert in maintaining accurate documentation, monitor upcoming regulatory changes and develop effective compliance strategies, whilst being the main contact for TGA, Medsafe and other such bodies.
What You'll do:
- Be the SME of relevant
ANZ & SEA
Federal and State Regulations, GMP and ISO guidelines and procedures, providing assessment of any upcoming changes to maximise opportunities and minimise risk - Regularly review labelling, product information and promotional material for compliance with relevant regulations and codes
- Ensure the timely preparation, submission and monitoring of regulatory applications for product and country licensing/registration to regulatory bodies across Asia Pacific (AICIS, TGA, GECA, Medsafe, MPI NZ, NPRA Malaysia HSA SG)
- You will be the SME of all ANZ and Therapeutic Goods regulations and provide guidance and strategy for Affiliate and Global stakeholders
- Provide training and guidance on Regulatory topics to internal and global stakeholders
- Maintain vigilance of potential issues beyond regulation ie. Public perception of ingredients of concern (eg. Preservatives), environmental impact etc
- Prepare and manage the ANZ/SEA Regulatory Affairs budget
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders regarding recall actions and non-compliance issues to ensure minimal impact to business operations
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years Regulatory Affairs experience within Australia, NZ & SEA
- Industry background – Pharmaceutical, Skin care, Cosmetics or related industries
- Demonstrated experience in strategically planning submissions, navigating the most effective and efficient path for product applications to TGA or other relevant regulatory bodies
- Extensive knowledge of TGA regulations, environmental legislation & labelling regulation
- Previous experience with Dangerous Good's regulations, GMP and regulatory requirements, quality systems and technical requirements
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proactive & confident with strong business acumen
- Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Good computer literacy
