Senior Construction Estimator

Our portfolio spans government housing, multi-residential architecturally designed high-end developments and large-scale commercial developments. With a focus on quality, time, and budget, we are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and tenders from concept through to contract
  • Analyse scope of works and assess costs for labour, plant, subcontractors, and materials
  • Develop programs, BOQ's and budgets across project lifecycles
  • Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing
  • Monitor budgets and costs, ensuring projects stay on time and on budget
  • Implement and improve estimating and cost management systems

Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
  • Proven success in tendering and securing commercial projects up to $30M
  • Strong cost management and financial control skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tenders without compromising details or accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
  • Confident working independently and collaboratively with architects, engineers, and consultants
  • 4+ years' experience in estimating for a Tier 1–3 head contractor
  • Full Australian working rights
