ABOUT THE ROLE

  • This is a permanent part-time role for a Term 4 start working 24 hours per week across a 39-week term time.
  • Rostered hours will be worked on-site through our main reception, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm and every Wednesday from 8.00 am to 12.00pm.

As Administration Officer your stewardship of the College will see you providing exceptional administrative services - reception services, file and data management, student attendance, bus bookings and enrolment support services - in a fast paced, timely and professional manner.

As the first point of contact for many engaging with the College, you will provide professional customer services at the highest level, reflecting the values and culture of our college.

Candidates must address the following selection criteriaas part of their application.

  1. Demonstrated office administration and reception services experience within a fast-paced educational setting (i.e. management of phone, online and in person inquires).
  2. Attention to detail including a high level of accuracy and process adherence.
  3. Advanced computer literacy, including a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. excel, word, outlook).
  4. Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service and collaborative engagement and decision-making with internal and external stakeholders of the College.
  5. Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality with regards to college matters.
  6. Current PAID Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or eligibility to attain.
  7. Previous experience using TASS (school business management system) and SEQTA (student attendances) would be considered favourably.
