About the Role:

As a Junior System Administrator, you will assist in managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure of our clients. You will work closely with the senior technical team to provide effective troubleshooting, systems management, and support. This is an excellent opportunity to kick-start your career in IT with hands-on experience in a diverse range of technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain client networks, servers, and systems.
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support to resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Assist with setting up user accounts, managing permissions, and handling backups.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on IT systems.
  • Assist in network monitoring, security assessments, and performance optimizations.
  • Work with the senior team to manage client support tickets and ensure timely resolution.
  • Document and update system configurations, processes, and incident reports.

About You:

  • Strong interest in IT and technology.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with clients.
  • A self-motivated, proactive approach with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications) or equivalent experience.
  • Previous exposure to system administration or IT support is a plus.
