About the Role:As a Systems Administrator at Advantage Solar, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability across all systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a forward-thinking company at the forefront of the clean energy movement.
● Install, configure, and maintain server hardware, software, operating systems, and database infrastructure to ensure high performance and reliability.
● Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted system operation.
● Conduct regular system backups and recovery procedures, safeguarding data and ensuring business continuity.
● Facilitate IT infrastructure changes, following change management processes and adhering to organizational protocols.
● Provide system-related technical support and guidance to end users, ensuring a smooth IT experience for the entire organization.
● Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies, ensuring data security and compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
● Continuously monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar IT role.
Strong knowledge of network administration, server management, and system security.
Experience with Windows and Linux-based operating systems.
Familiarity with cloud computing, virtualization, and backup solutions.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
