Senior Marketing Leadership Opportunity

Head of Medical Liaison Operations

Sydney, NSW

We're seeking an experienced Head of Medical Liaison Operations (MLO) to lead the marketing and referrer engagement function for a respected and growing healthcare group.

As a key member of the leadership team, you'll be responsible for setting and executing the marketing and referrer engagement strategy ensuring alignment with the Executive Leadership Team's priorities and translating vision into measurable outcomes that strengthen referral pathways, build brand reputation, and drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing & Engagement:

  • Own and deliver the Group's marketing and referrer engagement strategy in line with ELT priorities.
  • Provide regular reporting, insights, and recommendations to support operational and clinical initiatives.

Budgeting & Resource Management:

  • Develop and manage the marketing and MLO operational budget.
  • Ensure resources are allocated efficiently to deliver maximum ROI.

Brand & Content Governance:

  • Oversee all marketing collateral and content to ensure consistent, compliant, and professional messaging across teams.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the MLO team and Marketing Administrator.
  • Set clear KPIs, coach for performance, and foster a collaborative, high-performing culture.

Events & Market Engagement:

  • Oversee all referrer-facing events, CPD programs, and marketing campaigns ensuring high-quality delivery that enhances brand reputation.

Market Insights & Strategy:

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to provide timely insights that inform executive decision making.

About You:

  • Significant senior leadership experience in healthcare marketing, stakeholder engagement, or business development.
  • Must have done a similar role within healthcare with radiology experience being highly desirable
  • Proven success driving strategy, managing budgets, and leading high performing teams.
  • Confident influencing at executive level and aligning marketing initiatives with corporate goals.
  • A strategic thinker with exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
