About the Role

Are you a creative communicator with a passion for creating engaging content and working as part of a high performing team? Capricorn is seeking a Communications Coordinator to join our dynamic Communications & Engagement Team.

In this role, you'll help deliver strategic, engaging, and consistent communications that connect our Members, Preferred Suppliers, and Team Members across Australia and New Zealand. From creating inspiring content to supporting impactful advocacy campaigns and events, you'll play a key part in keeping our community informed, inspired, and united.

What You'll Be Doing

Create and deliver internal and external communications that reflect Capricorn's brand, values, and strategic goals.

Craft engaging content—written and video—for a range of channels including media releases, social media, websites, internal platforms, and corporate publications.

Collaborate across teams to uncover stories that showcase Capricorn's impact and bring our community to life.

Monitor media coverage and public sentiment to inform communications strategy.

Manage communication calendars and ensure timely delivery across multiple projects.

Champion our brand voice and uphold consistency in tone and messaging.

What You'll Bring

A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years' experience in a communications or related role.

Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills.

Strong creative writing ability and a knack for tailoring messages to different audiences.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.

Solid organisational and project management skills.
