Are you a creative, organised individual with a passion for communications and events?

The Lions Eye Institute is looking for a dynamic Communications Coordinator professional to support our mission and deliver impactful campaigns and events.

What You'll Do:

  • Create content for newsletters, media releases, website updates, and social media.
  • Provide support with website updates, media monitoring, and crisis communications.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns for fundraising and awareness.
  • Assist with creating digital clinic signage, SEO, Google Ads and supporting advertising campaigns.
  • Provide logistical support for key events such as invitations, RSVPs, organising photography and videography (e.g. Ian Constable Lecture, Visionaries Luncheon, Telethon Family Festival, fundraising events).
  • Provide general administrative support such as seeking quotes, liaising with suppliers, processing invoices, managing stock levels and ordering of promotional merchandise/event banners.
  • Manage the digital asset library.

What We're Looking For:

  • At least two years of experience in a similar role.
  • Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • A collaborative, proactive team player who thrives under pressure.
  • Proven ability to create engaging content for diverse audiences.
