QLS has a permanent full time opportunity for a Team Coordinator to join their QLS Ethics and Practice Centre team. The QLS Ethics and Practice Centre is a professional, member-focused team that supports Queensland solicitors with expert guidance on legal ethics and practice management. The Team delivers tailored services, training, and resources to help the profession uphold high standards, reduce risk, and foster ethical, efficient legal practice.

This role supports the operational delivery of the QLS Ethics and Practice Centre by managing key administrative functions, coordinating meetings, reporting, and supporting team workflows. You'll work closely with the Director and wider team to ensure smooth processes, accurate records, and effective communication across internal and external stakeholders.

In this role you will:

  • Provide operational support to the Director, helping shape team procedures, policies, and workflows.
  • Coordinate meetings and diary management, ensuring the team is well-prepared with relevant materials.
  • Be the first point of contact for ethics and practice management calls, logging enquiries and supporting accurate record-keeping.
  • Manage the preparation of performance reports and support financial processes and website updates for the Centre.
  • Maintain learning systems and liaise across departments to support the delivery of key projects and services.

Ideally you will have the following:

  • Proven experience in administration within a professional environment, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent planning and time management skills.
  • Strong customer service focus and clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and modern office systems to an intermediate level.
  • Experience with Canvas (Learning Management System) is desirable, along with a willingness to learn new systems.
