We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and professional full-time Legal Secretary to join our national Retirement Villages Rollover team in Sydney for Thomson Geer Legal and Technology.

The role will include

Working within a close knit, busy and interactive team, conducting:

  • Uploading and scanning a range of documents
  • Data entry
  • Opening, maintaining and closing files
  • Registering documents, correspondence, emails, memos and letters
  • Billing, trust money handling and similar finance matters
  • General administration work and similar tasks

The right person

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 2 years in an administrative role where you were responsible for billing and finance administration for a team
  • Intermediate skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with a document management system (iManage/FileSite/Mattersphere)
  • Experience in administering large volumes of work
  • A willingness to learn processes and systems
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A professional yet personable communication style
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
  • Initiative and the ability to work unsupervised

Previous experience in or interest working within a Corporate Health or Aged Care or Property or a law firm in an administrative capacity would be an advantage.
