A leading finance company providing tailored finance solutions to consumers is seeking an experienced Loans Officer and Collections Administration Officer to join their growing team.

This role is ideal for finance professional who thrive on delivering outstanding customer service while managing loan queries, credit applications, and compliance requirements with precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct client phone interviews to identify financial needs
  • Assess client situations and recommend tailored solutions including informal debt management, Part IX debt agreements, or brokered loans
  • Gather financial information and supporting documentation to prepare accurate proposals
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and that agreements are sustainable
  • Provide professional, supportive, and solution-focused customer service
  • Guide and advise new and existing customers on available options
  • Keep customers updated on the progress of their applications
  • Assess loan applications and request additional information when required
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Complete general administration tasks to support the lending process

Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Genuine enthusiasm for phone-based and online finance solutions
  • Previous experience in Finance Broking, Credit Approvals, Informal Debt Agreements, or Part IX Debt Agreements
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent administration skills
  • A proactive work ethic and passion for the financial services industry
  • Experience completing applications or assessments (financial background preferred)
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Target-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding KPIs
  • Empathy and professionalism while negotiating positive outcomes for customers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
