Royal Vanities has been supplying Australians with the highest quality bathroom products and fittings since 2014 continuing to be a trusted brand amongst trades, builders, developers, interior designers and DIY renovators.

We are seeking an experienced or ready to learn Sales Consultant to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. This pivotal role involves leading retail sales, overseeing key operational functions, and supporting in driving store performance. You'll have the exciting opportunity to work with many leading brands gaining diverse experience and paving the way for career progression with Royal Vanities. Prior experience as a retail sales consultant and availability to work Saturdays is essential.

The Opportunity:

  • Assist customers with sales enquiries and product selection
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
  • Greet and acknowledge customers in a timely manner
  • Design advice (where required)
  • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
  • Assist the Store Manager with daily operations, staff rostering, and performance management.
  • Assist with stock transfers and stock ordering
  • Receipt of payment using the POS system
  • Assist with damaged stock and warranty claims
  • Answering phone
  • Assist in the receipt of new shipments
  • Pick/packing orders for customers

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven working experience in retail supervisory or assistant management role, preferably within the home improvement, hardware, or design sectors
  • Understanding of advanced sales principles, customer service practices and team leadership
  • Good level of computer literacy and MS applications
  • Driven to meet sales targets with a proven record of exceeding
  • Ability to build effective working relationships
  • Solid communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
