About the role

Outdoor Living Direct is seeking a Retail Showroom Sales Assistant to join our team in Cheltenham, Victoria. This is a casual position that will involve assisting customers in our outdoor furniture and accessories showroom. As a Retail Showroom Sales Assistant, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and guiding customers through our extensive product range.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering questions about our products and services
  2. Demonstrating and showcasing our outdoor furniture and accessories to customers
  3. Assisting customers with placing orders and arranging delivery
  4. Maintaining a clean and organised showroom environment
  5. Restocking and replenishing product displays as needed
  6. Adhering to all company policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a retail or sales role, preferably in the furniture or home décor industry
  2. Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing a exceptional shopping experience
  3. Strong product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn about our outdoor living range
  4. A friendly, professional and enthusiastic demeanour
  5. Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekdays, public holidays and weekends
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
