Queensland Academy of Technology (QAT) established in 2006, is one of Queensland's leading Registered Training Organisation (RTO). We proudly offer a range of accredited courses in Individual Support & Aging Support, Community Service, Business, Early Childhood and Commercial Cookery/Hospitality. QAT is also an ELICOS college.

We are seeking an energetic, motivated, confident and outgoing trainer with experience in providing high quality, compliant and engaging training and assessment to aspiring students in the following trade qualifications:

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

Certificate IV in Kitchen Management

Diploma of Hospitality Management

Requirements:

  • Relevant VET qualifications as noted above at the equivalent or higher level
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the following units: TAELLN411 (or its successor) or TAELLN401A, and TAEASS502 (or its successor) or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B or a diploma or higher level qualification in adult education.
  • Relevant/Current Industry work experience post qualifications
  • Knowledge of the relevant Training Package;
  • Demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development;
