Warehouse Supervisor

Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, this opportunity will suit a committed, hands-on, experienced Warehouse Supervisor with a positive mindset who leads by example.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinating and maintaining daily warehouse operations while leading and coaching the Warehouse Team Leaders and Store persons
• Assist with staff recruitment and conduct performance evaluation in consultation with the Warehouse/Distribution Centre Manager
• Ensure all day-to-day operations utilise standardised processes and procedures
• Prepare and prioritise work for efficient and effective operations
• Ensure that OHS & E standards are maintained
• Coordinate, oversee, and supervise inbound and outbound operation

Desired experience & qualifications:

1. Solid experience within a warehousing environment ideally in a similar supervisory role
2. Prior experience managing inventory management (cycle counting/stocktaking) and maintaining inventory records
3. Experience managing processes within a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
4. The desire for future growth and development
5. Current Forklift License and Certificate III in Warehouse and Logistics or related discipline
6. Previous experience in a similar environment involving high-volume carton/pallet order picking
7. Demonstrate a positive work attitude with excellent team player skills
