Warehouse Supervisor

Job Purpose

DP World is currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to join the team, located at our Port of Brisbane warehouse. As part of this role, you will support the Operations Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods. You will also lead and train warehouse staff, fostering a safe and productive working environment. This is a permanent full-time opportunity, working Monday to Friday, starting from 5:00am to approximately 1:00pm.

Key Accountabilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and contract logistics operations, ensuring smooth workflows and operational efficiency.
• Manage inventory control processes, including audits, stock reconciliation, and accurate order fulfilment.
• Lead, train and develop a high-performing warehouse teams, fostering a safe and collaborative work environment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and company standards, proactively addressing risks.
• Monitor team performance, maintain service-level agreements, and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with operational expectations.

Qualifications, Skills And Experience

• 3+ year's experience within the contract logistics or supply chain industry.
• 2 year's experience in a supervisory role, with proven leadership and people management skills.
• Strong background in customer relationship management, contract administration, and execution.
• Understanding of the Oceania logistics sector, including local regulations and market dynamics.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Strategic, customer-focused, and adaptable, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
