Stores / Warehouse Supervisor

Janus International Australia – We are part of the Janus Group, the world-leading supplier of premium self storage products and specialise in the consultation, design, manufacture, and installation of self storage units across Australia and New Zealand. The company has offices in Brisbane and Sydney, as well as group connections to the USA, Asia, and Europe.

We are looking for a Stores / Warehouse Supervisor who will take ownership & pride in leading and managing all operations of the Store, including the manual aspects of the role. You will have the drive to continuously improve and identify growth opportunities and importantly work well with key stakeholders.

The role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manually load and unload trucks, containers, and other vehicles with goods and materials.
  • Move goods to and from storage areas, production lines & loading docks.

  • Picking & packing daily orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and damage free.

  • Manage receiving, storing, and distributing inventory within the warehouse.

  • Perform regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are accurate.

  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (if certified).

  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized.

Qualifications:

  • Forklift licence is essential.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labour for extended periods.
  • Good understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
