IT Support Coordinator (Level One)

We are the organisers of iconic events such as The Home Show, MindBodySpirit Festival and CollectFest. As our business grows, we're seeking a proactive IT Support Coordinator to assist our IT Manager in maintaining and improving our IT platforms across the organisation.

Location: Hawthorn (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days WFH)

Flexibility: Optional 9-day fortnight

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on troubleshooting, clean data, and building smart automations. You'll not only handle support requests but also contribute to projects that help the business work smarter and deliver meaningful results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT issues via helpdesk, phone, Microsoft Teams, or in-person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Support user account setup, password resets, and access permissions.
  • Provide end-user support and training for Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
  • Deliver basic IT training and promote best-practice security awareness across the team.
  • Assist with IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new platform implementations.
  • Document technical procedures and contribute to the internal knowledge base.

  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Motivated to learn, help, and teach others.
  • Must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.

What You Bring

  • 1–2 years' experience in IT support or helpdesk
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g. Zendesk or Zoho Desk)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Admin Centre, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
  • Device management experience (Intune or other MDM tools)
  • Basic networking skills – Wi-Fi troubleshooting, VPNs, firewalls, routers
  • Cybersecurity awareness – MFA setup, endpoint protection, phishing training
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Data integrity and reporting – SQL or advanced Excel for data maintenance
  • Intermediate SQL knowledge including joins and functions for data maintenance tasks.

Nice To Have

  • CRM experience (Zoho preferred; HubSpot or similar also valuable)
  • Familiarity with website platforms (e.g. WordPress)
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g. Zapier) or working with APIs
