Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Intensive Care At Home Pty Ltd Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Join a high-performing team in a critical role that ensures Australia's most vulnerable people receive safe, continuous care at home; 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

About INTENSIVE CARE AT HOME

Intensive Care at Home (ICAH) is proud to be Australia's first nursing service recognised for delivering high-level complex care within community settings. We provide a specialised and compassionate alternative to traditional hospital-based intensive care, offering safe, innovative support to critically ill adults and children in their own homes.

Our team delivers high-acuity, 24/7 nursing care, including tracheostomy management, ventilator support, and non-invasive ventilation. This approach enables a safe discharge from hospital while maintaining the highest standards of clinical care and significantly enhancing their quality of life.

As a service that operates 365 days a year, we are committed to ensuring uninterrupted care for our clients. Every roster counts and so does every person behind it.

About the Role

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Rostering Officer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. This is a remote, full-time position (12-month fixed-term contract with the potential to become permanent), offering flexible hours within a rotating 7-day roster, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

This is not your average admin role; it is a critical operational position requiring precision, urgency, and sound judgement to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional 24-hour client careacross every day of the year.

What You Will Do

  • Build, manage, and maintain complex staff rosters using industry-standard rostering software
  • Respond quickly to last-minute changes, cancellations, and coverage gaps
  • Communicate roster updates to clinical staff, clients, and internal teams clearly and promptly
  • Liaise with our clinical staff, clients, and managers to ensure optimal staffing
  • Support rostering with accurate documentation and reporting
  • Manage competing demands with calmness, clarity, and professionalism

What You Will Bring

  • Confident communication skills with a client-first attitude
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage time-critical priorities
  • Comfortable working autonomously from home with strong tech skills
  • Previous rostering or workforce scheduling experience (healthcare preferred but not essential)
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt in dynamic fast-paced and pressurised environments

Essential Requirements

  • National Police Clearance
  • Must have a NDIS Worker Screen
  • Stable and secure internet connection
  • Experience in healthcare or NDIS is highly desirable
  • Legal right to work in Australia (must live in Australia)
  • Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
  • Strong verbal communication skills are essential, including the ability to speak clearly and confidently.

Why Join Us?

  • Work from home with a supportive, high-performing team
  • Play a pivotal role in delivering life-saving services to clients in their own homes
  • Be part of a mission-driven organisation that operates 365 days a year to support those in need
  • Join a respected, fast-growing organisation setting new benchmarks in clinical care in the community
  • Know that your contribution makes a real difference to the vulnerable people we serve every shift, every day

If you are a strong scheduler who thrives in a dynamic fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering results under pressure, we would love to hear from you.
