YOUR ROLE

Are you an ambitious pro-active individual looking for a role that will allow you to develop your territory and look after a broad customer base? We are currently seeking an Account manager to join our team at Beaver Brands. Based out of our Sydney Head Office & National DC in Erskine Park, this is an external Account Manager role dealing with our reseller customers across NSW. You will be calling on our diverse range of resellers, promoting our brands, discussing stock requirements, helping with ranging and generally driving growth of our products through their businesses. You will report directly to the National Sales Manager, working primarily on the road visiting our customer's stores in Sydney, Newcastle and regional NSW.

Your main responsibility will be:

  • Responsible for the sales revenue and margin targets within allocated territory
  • Responsible for the growth of existing accounts
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
  • Develop full understanding of customer's and prospect's current products, and future needs.
  • Manage call cycle ensuring regular in person visits & complimentary remote contact with customers are completed.
  • Maintain CRM or relevant system with required customer visits and opportunities.

ABOUT YOU

You'll have that same entrepreneurial spirit that we live and breathe here at Bunzl, and the ability to influence and negotiate with our customers. You must possess a understanding of selling products in reseller/wholesale/distribution environment, and organisational and communication skills to interact effectively with all areas of the business, build rapport, and deliver great outcomes.

You've already fine-tuned your relationship-building and negotiation skills from previous Sales/Customer Service roles, where you successfully managed your territory and multi-level relationships, both internally and externally. You have a pro-active attitude being a self-starter with strong analytical skills and commercial acumen enjoying visiting customers.

The other essentials we are looking for:

  • Full clean Australian Driver's license.
  • Highly motivated, pro-active and self-starting individual.
  • Able to succeed unsupervised
  • Able to travel for work
  • Experience with field sales is preferred
  • Intermediate computer skills, including all MS Office Application.
