About the Job:
The National Account Manager is responsible for leading the strategic and commercial relationship with key customers, driving profitable growth across both branded and private label portfolios. This role reports to the Head of Customer. This role is accountable for delivering annual sales, volume, and contribution targets in alignment with TK's broader business objectives.
The National Account Manager will manage customer business planning, commercial negotiations, and the execution of promotional, pricing, and range strategies that align with category and business goals. Acting as the primary point of contact for key accounts, they will build strong partnerships with stakeholders and lead the delivery of Joint Business Plans, range reviews, and NPD execution.
This role requires a commercial and insight-driven person who can navigate cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Demand Planning to ensure seamless in-market delivery. Additionally, the NAM will mentor and manage the Commercial Administrator, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement across all customer-related support processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and deliver annual sales, volume, and profit targets for key accounts, aligned to overall business strategy.
• Lead strategic customer planning across branded and private label portfolios, grounded in category, consumer, and market insight.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with senior customer stakeholders, acting as their strategic commercial partner.
• Lead customer negotiations on trade terms, pricing, and promotional funding to drive profitable, sustainable growth.
• Manage full account P&L, including promotional ROI and pricing strategy.
• Drive the end-to-end delivery of NPD, range reviews, and promotional execution in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Champion customer and shopper insights internally to influence commercial, marketing, and innovation strategies.
• Manage customer forecast inputs and support the S&OP process to ensure accuracy and supply alignment.
• Provide leadership to the Commercial Administrator, ensuring efficient execution of pricing updates, claims, commercial admin, and reporting.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Demand Planning to ensure customer excellence.
• Monitor account performance, identify risks/opportunities, and develop action plans to deliver against business goals.

• FMCG experience essential
• Proficient in data insight platforms (Circana IRI, Quantium)
• Strong planning, organising, and prioritising skills
• Ability to manage time and workload while remaining responsive
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive strategic decisions
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Commercial acumen and ability to work cross-functionally
• Experience in category management and account management
• Degree qualification in Business, Marketing, or Finance desirable
• National Account Manager or National Account Executive/Key Account Manager experience within an FMCG/Consumer Goods environment
