Location: Darwin

Primary Objective: Contribute to the delivery of a culturally appropriate health care service for all clients of the Sexual Health and Blood Borne Virus Unit with a focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients. This position will provide a liaison service between Clinic 34, the Syphilis Register, hospital services, and clients from remote communities residing in Darwin, to facilitate timely STI/BBV management, contact tracing, follow-up, and culturally safe care. Establish and maintain rapport with clients, offering support, and advocating on their behalf. Ensure clients have access to information in relation to health services by providing a variety of approaches to information and education.
