Greater Sydney Area, Australia Realise Engineering Pty Ltd Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

We are looking for real engineers to join our growing organisation. We operate in production facilities that need upgrades or maintenance, reverse engineering projects, providing engineering support in dynamic environments

The Work:

60-70% of your time on client sites across Sydney and regional NSW, you will be;

  • Measuring existing equipment and facility layouts
  • Problem-solving when site conditions don't match expectations
  • Supervising installations on active production sites
  • Managing contractor coordination and site safety

30-40% office-based:

  • Layout drawings and equipment modifications (AutoCAD, Inventor)
  • Feasibility reports and scope documents
  • Project coordination and documentation

Who We're Looking For:

Every project is different. From food & beverage production lines to the building materials sector, waste recovery, FMCG packaging equipment, structural modifications, equipment upgrades.

You'll see what you design get built and commissioned.

Essential:

  • Mechanical or Process Engineering degree/diploma (completed or final year)
  • 2-5 years working on industrial or manufacturing sites
  • AutoCAD and 3D modelling capability
  • Comfortable with incomplete information and changing site conditions
  • NSW driver's license

Highly Valued:

  • Trade background (mechanical fitting, fabrication, industrial maintenance)
  • Considerable time on site, in an operating environment.

Realistic Expectations:

This role involves:

  • Working on active production sites with time pressure
  • Mix of planned projects and reactive client needs
  • Getting your hands dirty
  • Problem-solving with imperfect information

Work Pattern:

  • Client Site work: Sydney, regional NSW
  • Office base: Parramatta/Hills District Sydney
  • Mix of planned site visits and responsive client work
