The Opportunity:
To assist upcoming workforce needs, we are seeking expressions of interest from talented Payroll Officers who are excited to contribute to a high-performing team. In this role, you'll help deliver accurate and timely payroll for our Australian workforce, working closely with both our onshore and offshore Finance teams. You'll also play a key role in process improvement and support the implementation of new payroll and finance systems.

We are seeking Melbourne based candidates who are interested in all types of employment (permanent, fixed term and casual).
Please note. only candidates who are eligible to hold an AGSVA security clearance will be shortlisted.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver end-to-end payroll processing for fortnightly and monthly pay cycles
- Manage pre-payroll administrative tasks, including calculation and processing of terminations, redundancies, back payments, and superannuation lodgements
- Ensure compliance and consistency to minimise errors and duplication
- Provide accurate and timely advice to employees and stakeholders on payroll matters
- Support the coordination and implementation of employee benefits
- Keep the business informed on legislative changes impacting payroll
- Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across People & Culture, Finance, Tax, and external vendors
Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- 2–3 years' end-to-end payroll experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative, positive, and flexible approach to work
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience using SAP, Microsoft Dynamics and Workday
