We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our friendly team at Choices Flooring in Forster, NSW. This full-time role is integral to the success of our retail store, as you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting customers warmly and determining their flooring needs
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to help customers select the perfect flooring options for their home or business
  • Demonstrating product knowledge and features to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions
  • Liaising with customers throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to final installation
  • Maintaining a clean, organized and visually appealing retail environment
  • Achieving individual and team sales targets
  • Supporting the Store Manager with administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably within the home improvement or flooring industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
  • A passion for providing exceptional customer service and a genuine desire to help customers
  • Strong product knowledge or the willingness to learn about our extensive range of flooring options
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive, enthusiastic and team-oriented attitude
