About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager Rentals to join our dynamic team at ASV Sales and Service Pty Ltd in Hexham, NSW. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities within the construction and forestry equipment sector, with a focus on expanding our client base and revenue streams.

What you'll be doing

  1. Identifying and pursuing new business leads in the construction and forestry equipment market
  2. Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to acquire new clients
  3. Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
  4. Preparing and presenting compelling proposals and pitches to secure new business
  5. Collaborating with the wider team to provide exceptional customer service and support
  6. Achieving and exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators
  7. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations and best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience in a similar business development or sales role within the construction equipment industry
  2. Strong understanding of the construction equipment market, including key players, industry trends and customer needs
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  4. Proven track record of successfully securing new business and meeting or exceeding sales targets
  5. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  6. Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
  7. Passionate about providing exceptional customer service
