About the Job:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analysts to join our friendly team on a permanent full-time basis at our Brisbane office.

We're looking for a proactive, and analytical individual to support our finance team. In this role, you'll engage with both internal teams and external services to make a lasting impact on the future of the organisation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Business Analysis

  • Preparing and updating the group profit forecast;
  • Assisting Finance Manager, Financial Controller and Company Secretary with preparation of Quarterly Board pack; and
  • Other financial analysis as required.

Management Accounting

  • Monitoring day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as invoicing, and other transactions;
  • Ensuring all end of month journals are completed, reconciled and the accounts are accurate;
  • Assisting team in dealing with outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary;
  • Supporting the tracking of the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement;
  • Supporting the preparation of monthly and annual reports in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Staying up to date with technical accounting issues for financial purposes; and
  • Understanding and adhering to financial regulations and legislation.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience (preferred),
  • Strong attention to detail,
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills,
  • Demonstrated financial and business skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
