Are you an experienced
Business Analyst
looking for your next opportunity within the private Energy sector? We're currently seeking a skilled BA to support a series of smaller initiatives, ensuring the successful identification, delivery, and ongoing support of business and technical solutions.

About the Role

You'll work across a collection of initiatives, engaging with business and technical stakeholders to gather and document requirements, drive process improvements, and support the design, configuration, and delivery of COTS/SaaS systems. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys variety in their work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements and system processes.
  • Coordinate release and deployment activities, including user testing.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements for suppliers and product owners.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and business artefacts.
  • Manage requirement backlogs and prioritise changes in collaboration with system owners.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to achieve outcome-focused discussions.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure smooth communication between business and technical teams.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a
    Business Analyst
    , ideally across small programs or multiple projects.
  • At least 3 years' experience with
    COTS/SaaS system design, configuration, and administration
    .
  • Strong documentation and analytical skills, with the ability to convert business needs into technical detail.
  • Proven ability to drive
    process improvement
    through technology and change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, preparing acceptance criteria, and coordinating system testing.
