About the Role
The Scheduling Coordinator is a crucial role to ensure the end-to-end arrangements of plant and equipment with MGC Civil. You will ensure the safe, cost effective and efficient availability of plant to support operational delivery. This role is responsible for contributing to asset availability and operational reliability across projects.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains complete visibility of plant movement, readiness, and lifecycle schedules
- Maximizes the efficient use of equipment resources and internal hire value through cost-effective planning
- Ensures timely issue of PO's and delivery information
- Coordinate transport, mobilisation, and demobilisation of equipment.
- Oversee servicing, maintenance scheduling, and breakdown response in conjunction with the workshop Supervisor
- Track and maintain accurate Maintain accurate plant registers, usage data, and recovery reports
- Delivers timely, fit-for-purpose plant and equipment to meet construction needs
- Provide frontline support to the Plant Manager and workshop teams
- Process documentation for internal and external hire, including PO creation and insurance verification
About you:
- Experienced in scheduling, ideally within the construction industry
- Highly organised with strong attention to details
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Basic knowledge of plant equipment
- Friendly, confident, and professional communicator
- Calm under pressure and enjoy solving problems
