The Role
A full-time opportunity exists for a wine industry professional who has strong QLD trade relationships and is self-driven and motivated by the achievement of key business results. If successful in your application, you will be responsible for managing geographic sales and best practice customer service across an allocated Brisbane (inc CBD) territory for on and off-premise accounts including regional coverage if required.
Your organisational skills will see you develop and execute journey plans to grow your distribution footprint across the portfolio. If you are described as a 'can do' and positive person that likes a fast-paced environment with the ability to work autonomously, this could be the opportunity you've been chasing.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and executing plans to grow the distribution footprint across the portfolio;
- Achieving target call rates and coverage of customers;
- Achieving targeted sales and margin expectations;
- Successfully managing a geographic customer base;
- Conducting retail product tastings onsite as required;
- Actively demonstrating teamwork via contribution to a national sales team;
- Timely and efficient administration of sales; and
- Taking on any additional responsibility required by the business.
Selection Criteria
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role (liquor sales or Fast-Moving Customer Goods at field level or Hospitality background);
- WSET qualifications Level 2 desirable;
- Current driver's license;
- Demonstrate an active customer base;
- Proven ability to develop sound commercial relationships across relevant trade channels on and off premise;
- Proven commercial acumen to drive business results;
- Exceptional customer service orientation;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to encourage sales;
- Second to none relationship building skills; and
- Passion for the hospitality/wine industry with a broad existing network;
