AFM Services is a boutique accounting practice located in Norwood, South Australia. We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Receptionist and Personal Assistant to support our front office and senior leadership team. This is a highly visible and valued role within the firm, ideal for someone with excellent communication, organisation, and coordination skills.

About the Role

As our Receptionist and PA, you'll play a pivotal role, providing essential administrative and client-focused support to our Team. Your day-to-day activities will include coordinating workflows, managing client interactions, and ensuring the efficient operation of administrative tasks.

You will be the face of the business, managing client arrivals and phone calls, coordinating calendars, supporting directors with administrative tasks, and maintaining a well-run office environment. You'll play an essential role in enhancing our client service experience and internal operations.

  • Handling administrative tasks, including document management, internal and external communications
  • Providing professional client support, responding to enquiries promptly,
  • Task management through Xero Practice Manager (XPM) and FYI document management system
  • Internal events management, catering, and kitchen requirements.
  • Participating in and coordinating meetings and ensuring clear communication within the team.
  • Continuously identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Managing the reception and assisting the administration team

About You:

  • Previous experience in administrative support, ideally within accounting or professional services.

  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and similar platforms.

  • Strong communication skills, with a client-focused and professional approach.

  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritise, and solve problems efficiently.

  • Commitment to confidentiality and maintaining high compliance standards.
