An opportunity has presented for a position working as a casual dental assistant/ receptionist with Wednesday being a day that is required other days can be discussed while the role is primarily assisting there will be days that reception duties are required, and we are looking for an all-rounder someone who can work the dual role and cover any staff illness and leave requirements

Role Description

· Front reception duties, such as answering phone calls, processing accounts and making appointments

· Chair-side assisting

· Preparing materials

· Sterilisation procedures

· Recording treatment information in patient records

· Collecting and recording patient medical and dental history

· Stock ordering and maintaining a stock inventory

Requirements

· Certificate 3 in Dental Assisting (minimum)

· Experience with D4W (an advantage, but not essential)

· Excellence knowledge of infection control standards

· Good written and verbal communication skills

· High attention to detail

· Exceptional patient care and customer service skills
