About the role

Are you passionate about working in the agricultural industry? We have two current vacancies for Station Hands to join our teams at Ashmore and Keilira Stations, both close to Kingston SE, South Australia. These are full-time opportunities to contribute to the day-to-day operations of our sheep and cattle properties.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting with general farm duties such as livestock handling, animal husbandry and property maintenance.
  2. Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment including riding and mustering on 2-wheeled motorbikes.
  3. Working as part of a farm team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  4. Some tasks are completed alone, so you must be self-motivated and happy to work alone, at times.
  5. Adhering to all workplace health and safety protocols

What we're looking for

  1. People who can demonstrate a consistent job history including at least 6-12 months in a similar role.
  2. Strong practical skills and the ability to operate 2-wheeled motorbikes.
  3. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety
  4. A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively
  5. A current car licence (C) is required.
  6. At least one trained working dog, would be advantageous.
  7. A motorbike licence would be ideal, but not essential.
