We are currently experiencing significant growth and are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Security Field Technician to join our dynamic team in Victoria.

About the Role:

Building on our recent success, we are excited to offer a full-time position for a Senior Security Field Technician. In this role, you will lead a small team (1-3 technicians) and work independently on complex, large-scale commercial security projects. You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of integrated security systems, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a small team of security technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • Conduct thorough site walk-throughs with the team to plan, organize, and delegate fieldwork effectively.

  • Install, commission, and maintain a range of security systems, including Integriti, Inception, Dahua CCTV/Intercoms, and other integrated solutions.

  • Perform rigorous onsite quality control checks to maintain team efficiency and project success.

  • Maintain accurate technical commissioning maps and documentation.

  • Liaise with the control room for walk tests and other quality control procedures.

  • Conduct client handovers of completed projects, ensuring client satisfaction.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing expert support to clients.

Technical Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience with Integriti, Inception and Dahua CCTV/Intercom systems.

  • Strong understanding of Multipath systems.

  • Proficiency in router configuration, including port forwarding.

  • Solid IT and networking knowledge.

  • Proven ability to install and commission complex access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of field experience as a security technician.

  • Private Individual Security Registration (Installer & Advisor).

  • Open Cable Registration.

  • Working at Heights/EWP license (Yellow Card).

  • Current WHS White Card.

  • Valid VIC Driver's License.

  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet strict deadlines.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Availability to work overtime and travel interstate occasionally.

  • Willingness to undertake Protege GX training and certification.
