Technical Trainer

We're seeking an enthusiastic and passionate individual to lead the training, assessment, and skill development of our Service Technicians. Working alongside the National Training & Field Assessment Manager and the broader Technical Training and Service Team, you will develop and implement effective local processes, impart your technical expertise, and support in the generation of training material.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Plan, coordinate and deliver technical training for Technicians, Agents and Managers.
- Develop, update and share best practices and technical knowledge.
- Provide technical support and tools to the service team and field staff.
- Conduct competency assessments and on-site work audits.
- Maintain and manage technical documents to ensure accessibility and accuracy.
**YOUR SKILLS**
Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar position, facilitating training and conducting assessments within a field role. An understanding of technical product training will be highly beneficial.
- Experience working in a service environment.
- Proven background in mechanical or electrical systems.
- Residential experience with Garage Doors is advantageous, but not essential.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and updating existing training packages is highly desirable.
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment is desirable but not essential.
