Director – Disability Support Services
Location: Melbourne, VIC
Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 per annum (plus superannuation)

The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Director – Disability Support Services to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our organisation. This role is ideal for a professional with strong leadership skills and a background in disability services, community health, or social care.
The successful candidate will ensure compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguarding standards, drive service growth, support staff development, and maintain a positive, inclusive culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of disability support services.
- Ensure compliance with NDIS guidelines, policies, and regulations.
- Oversee rostering, service delivery, and client engagement.
- Manage and mentor a team of support workers and coordinators.
- Build strong relationships with participants, families, and external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement service improvement strategies.
- Report to the Board/Managing Director on service performance and growth opportunities.
Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in a senior leadership or management role within disability support, community services, aged care, or allied health.
- Strong knowledge of the NDIS framework, compliance, and reporting requirements.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a person-centred environment.
- High level of organisational and time management skills.
Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification in Disability Services, Community Services, Social Work, Allied Health, Business Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and Police Check.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
