Locally owned Industrial Fire and Electrical Pty Ltd is a leading statewide supplier of Electrical and Fire Contracting services. IF&E are expanding our Hobart sector under new leadership. Are you our next skilled team member?

Industrial Fire and Electrical Pty Ltd have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Leading Hand to join our service team. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday in Hobart.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following attributes of being highly motivated with good communication skills and time management.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified electrician with a current practicing licence and have a current Australian Work Visa/ Residency/ Citizenship. You will also need the following experience:

  • Current full driver's licence for Australia
  • Residential, construction and electrical installation experience.
  • Fire experience is desirable
  • Automatic Door experience is desirable
  • Install, terminate and test electrical systems such as power, lighting and switchboards in commercial and residential builds.
  • Lead and supervise apprentices quoting service jobs
  • Responsibility for onsite quality control
  • Ensure compliance to all relevant Australian power rules, regulations, and standards.
  • Experience working as a team player that contributes to positive work culture and can work autonomously
  • Proven reliability and punctual attendance at work
