We are seeking a reliable and efficient Storemen/Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for breaking down and sorting carton freight, loading and unloading vans and trailers. You will need to have good manifest accuracy, be competent in manual handling, and be able to work in a team environment.

As we operate 24/7 the ideal candidate must be available for during these times.  The shift patterns for these roles are:

Shift: Tuesday to Saturday 1:30pm Starts- Afternoon Shift Allowance - Full Time

Shift: Tuesday to Saturday 1:00am Starts - Morning Shift Allowance - Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and organize incoming freight

• Accurately record and label all incoming and outgoing freight

• Organize and maintain the warehouse to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of freight

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner

• Ensure that all safety procedures are followed at all times

• Keep the warehouse clean and tidy

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Store Person in a logistics freight company or similar environment is desirable 

• Ability to commit to listed shift patterns 

• Forklift license is essential

• Experience with forklifts and other warehouse equipment

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work in a refrigerated environment
