About This Opportunity

Under the supervision of the Director of Sports, the Sports Coordinator provides support to assist in the overall performance of the Sporting Program for students in Years

  • This role offers flexibility, with the option to apply for:

  • A permanent full-time position, or

  • One of two part-time, term-time only positions (ideal for those seeking a work/life balance or reduced hours during the holidays)

  • Flexibility with hours is essential, as early starts or late finishes are required to support training sessions, fixtures, and sporting events.

  • Weekend work is expected for attendance at sporting carnivals and sporting fixtures. (For full-time appointments, additional hours worked will be accrued and taken during term breaks.)
  • Hourly base rate $ – $ % superannuation + leave loading
  • Based in Indooroopilly, close to public transport and ample free parking

The College has mandatory closure over the Christmas/New Year period, and you will be expected to take this time as annual leave.

About You

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Certificate level or tertiary qualifications in related field
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Shows initiative
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Work with a high level of efficiency and accuracy
  • Current first aid and CPR certificate
  • Drivers Licence
  • Experience in a school environment, coaching qualifications, and knowledge of database or online booking programs will be highly regarded but not essential.
