About the Role

Join our established pastry team in a brand new, spacious facility where quality meets creativity. Working under the guidance of our Head Baker, you'll help create our rotating seasonal pastry specials using the highest quality ingredients while contributing to operations that supply Mörk's five venues and wholesale network.

Located right in the heart of Melbourne's CBD with the Flagstaff Gardens directly across the road, our venue is flooded with natural light and features an adjoining café window at the front—perfect for enjoying a specially brewed coffee while taking in the vibrant city atmosphere.

This position requires early morning start times to ensure fresh daily production.

What You'll Do
  • Create & Craft: Assist in producing seasonal pastries and daily baked goods that showcase our commitment to quality and creativity
  • Learn & Grow: Develop your skills under experienced leadership with genuine opportunities for career advancement
  • Quality Focus: Work with premium ingredients while maintaining Mörk's high standards for sustainability and ethical sourcing
  • Team Collaboration: Support a positive kitchen environment while contributing to our growing pastry operations
  • Production Support: Help supply Mörk's five venues and wholesale partners with consistent, exceptional products
Who We Are Looking For
  • Baking Foundation: Solid basic baking skills with eagerness to learn and develop further
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum 1-2 years of baking or pastry experience is required
  • Qualifications: Trade qualification in pastry or baking is required
  • Work Eligibility: Australian work rights are required for this position
  • Quality Mindset: Appreciation for premium ingredients and attention to detail in preparation
  • Team Player: Positive attitude and enthusiasm for working collaboratively in a supportive environment
