About the role
You will form an integral part of the Finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager. You will gain exposure to a fast-paced and continuous improvement focused business, where your ideas are encouraged and valued.
  • Analyse project costs, financial performance, and variances from budget
  • Monitor project costs and ensure that all expenses are properly allocated and recorded
  • Cashflow management – ensuring accurate cash flow forecasting & tracking of payment terms and outstanding accounts receivable to ensure timely payments
  • Own the Fixed Asset Register
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and balanced
  • Post journal entries related to monthly transactions, including accruals, prepayments, and payroll
  • Perform monthly credit card & fuel card reconciliations
  • Assist with internal and external audits to ensure financial accuracy and transparency
About you
You are a Financial Accountant who has a keen eye for process improvement and who thrives in a collaborative environment. We offer structured training, with exposure to multi-country business practices and growing entities.
  • Tertiary Accounting qualification and CPA/CA
  • Ideally proficient in NetSuite and advanced Excel skills
  • Thrives in a diverse and global environment
  • Proactive approach senior stakeholder management and problem solving
