**Key tasks and responsibilities include**:
**- Data Analysis**
- Analyse Retail Sales for trends, market comparison, targets and budgeting
- Ad hoc data drills and reporting to Directors
- Understand and identify problems arising from data and remedy them
- Maintain daily record of financial data
- Reporting live data via SQL interface
- Organising raw and big data into presentable format
- Understanding of Futures Studies and macro-business cycles
- Tracking of budgets and Sales performance
- Extrapolate information on performance/trends

Monitoring KPIs for employees

**- Systems Management**
- Systems maintenance and configuration
- Troubleshoot system issues
- Maintain knowledge base
- Educate and train users on business processes and procedures
- Create and update system forms and reports
- Create and maintain users and their appropriate security/access profiles
- Testing for implementation of software point updates prior to Live rollout
- Case Escalation to software engineers when required
- Monitoring website functionality
- Assist in ad-hoc duties as required by Director

**- Procurement**
- Oversight of Procurement relative to identified current market and business requirements
- Budgeting
- Knowledge of data tagging and associated digital intricacies of international imports.
- Stakeholder relationship, maintaining professional and open communication

**- Client Service**
- Maintain professional relationship with key Clients and Suppliers
- Recommend ideas to Sales Reps and Managers based on client history data, market trends and future narratives
- Streamlining of Ordering and Billing process for optimum client interaction
- Prompt calculation and disbursement of rebates
- Document communication and incidents
- Dispute Resolution
- Mentor employees on the value of data accuracy by presenting data and knowledge in an interesting format, such to foster inclusiveness and a feeling of being “part of the team”.

**- Logistics**
- Strategise for improvement based on feedback
- Seek and collate staff feedback regarding fluidity of freight operations
- Approve Freight costs and monitor their bearing on profit
- Monitor and administer Stocktake including data clearing/data uploads

**- Contract Administration**
- Maintain knowledge of, and take out, insurance policies
- Negotiate and obtain supplier contracts
- Monitor all services carried out for the company

**- New Product Implementation**
- Feedback and input regarding growth strategy, product lines, investment
- Project co-ordination and management

**- Creditors**
- Monitor and report on Trade Finance activity
- Monitor, forecast and book USD exchange rates
- Monthly reporting Aged Trial Balance and reconciliation

**- Debtors**
- Approval and Processing of Credit Notes
- Approval and Processing of Rebates and Refunds
- Monthly reporting Aged Trial Balance and reconciliation

**- Bookkeeping Tasks**
- Payroll
- Prepare and booking of journals
- Manage Accruals
- Prepare, lodge and reconcile BAS, PAYG, FBT returns
- Annual Statutory Reporting (Financial Statements)
- Maintain Lease/Loan register
- Annual audit
- Payroll Tax calculate and lodge with OSR
- Direct Debits

**- Small amount of General Administration**

**Experience required for the role**:
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor degree or higher qualification

**Experience**:

- Experience in Management within an office and team environment
- Academic knowledge in Business, Mathematics/Computer Science
- Experience with ERP system Harmoniq (Micronet is a plus)
- Data Analysis
- Systems Management
- Client Service
- Understanding of Financial Statements, reconciliations and nature of Balance Sheet accounts and the treatment of transactions
- Employee Relations desirable
- Payroll and bookkeeping desirable

Ability to work unsupervised

**Other relevant skills or information**:

- Advanced PC skills in Excel (including macros) and Word
- Ability to think outside the box and on a macro scale
- Interest in Futures Studies is desirable

**Salary**: $75,000.00 per year
