About us

Synergy Fire & Security is an ISO-9001 accredited company in the fire protection and security industry based in Rosebery in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.

Key responsibilities

Accounts Payable

  • Handle supplier and contractor invoices by ensuring they align with approved purchase or work orders. Obtain managerial approval, match invoices with supporting documents and reconcile them with statements for month-end payments.

Reporting

  • Project WIP reports

  • Balance Sheet and P&L Reconciliation

  • Profitability Analysis

  • Other as required

Accounts Receivable

  • Raising and sending invoices to customers and following up unpaid invoices

Tax

· Assist with BAS reporting

Other

· Assist with month end close and reporting as required

The successful applicant:

  • You will hold a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • You have already worked in an Accounting department

  • You can work both independently and in a team environment

  • You demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills and process driven personality

  • You will be a proficient user of financial software (MYOB) and have advanced excel skills

  • Personal characteristics such as being friendly, adaptable and a team player will ensure a great fit to the management team
