Hygiene Service Support – Bin Preparation & Driver Relief

Part Time | Thomastown | From $28 per hour

Hours: 3–5 weekdays per week, from 7:00am to 3:00pm

Location: Start and finish in Thomastown

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Vehicle: Company van provided for use during business hours (when on runs)

Please note before applying: This position includes servicing female washrooms, which involves restocking products and replacing sanitary bins.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on person to join our Hygiene Services team.

This role is primarily based at our Thomastown warehouse, where you'll prepare hygiene bins for our technicians to service on their runs. Your main tasks will include:

  • Washing and sanitising nappy and sanitary bins
  • Inserting bin liners and labelling bins
  • Organising bins ready for daily service runs

From time to time, you will also provide relief support by driving a company van and servicing client sites, following a set run sheet. This involves restocking washroom products (soap dispensers, air fresheners) and replacing sanitary bins. (No washroom cleaning required.)

Please note: this role includes entering female washrooms when covering runs. Full training and support are provided, and we especially welcome female applicants who may feel more comfortable with this aspect of the role.

This job suits someone practical, organised, and happy to roll up their sleeves, with the flexibility to occasionally get out on the road.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Washing, lining, labelling, and preparing hygiene bins
  • Organising bins for daily service runs
  • Assisting drivers and supporting the hygiene team
  • Providing driver/technician relief as required (servicing washrooms and replacing sanitary bins)
  • Delivering friendly and professional service when on-site

What You Need

  • Valid driver's licence (mandatory)
  • Ability to work alone and manage your time well
  • Good customer service skills
  • Punctual, reliable and physically fit
  • Working With Children Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Willingness to obtain a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
