Administration Assistant / Office All Rounder

We are a friendly small wholesaler/retailer company based in Thomastown. We are seeking an Administration Assistant / Office All rounder with a pleasant phone manner, able to handle incoming customer orders and enquiries with attention to detail when creating client invoices and driver run sheets. Must have excellent phone manner and customer service experience.  Training will be provided for the right candidate.  Hours are 8am to 5pm, 2-3 days per week. Must be available, Monday, Thursday and Fridays.

The role will see the successful candidate engaging in a number of activities including:

  • General Administration office duties
  • Familiar with Microsoft Outlook Email for processing enquiries and orders
  • Excel experience and record keeping for daily orders and run sheets
  • Data entry with client invoice preparation from daily orders
  • Customer service

To be considered for this position you will possess the following:

  • Xero Advanced experience is preferred but not essential
  • Data entry/Administration experience in a retail sales environment
  • At least 3 years experience in a previous administrative role
  • High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines working well under pressure
  • Strong Microsoft application experience especially with Excel
  • Excellent data entry skills – both alpha and numeric using Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with pleasant phone manner

Responsibilities include:

Provide customer service support with a friendly manner

Assist fellow colleagues with Administration support, emails etc. including advanced accounts

Provide support to customers

Data Entry, matching orders

General Administration duties
