Customer Account Manager

Grosvenor Engineering Group are looking for a Customer Account Manager – Fire. This unique role will give you the opportunity to work out of our centrally located our Newcastle Office. The role will see you heading out to client sites to manage new and existing relationships, actively seeking new opportunities for growth, and sharing your extensive technical knowledge within the Fire Services Industry.
The Role:
- Become the face of the Grosvenor fire team, building relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Apply skills and act as Subject Matter Expert to provide qualified advisory services, including approving quotes and ensuring compliance.
- Assist with the growth of our Fire Service division throughout the Newcastle region
- Carry out project audits annually and assist to digitise and present information to Clients.
- Comply with customer/client requirements imposed on Grosvenor which may apply to performing your work at their site.
- Provide timely recommendation based on defects obtained during our maintenances
- Advising on Maintenance Contract amounts for new "Financial or Calendar" Year as per client's "budget" period
Requirements:
- Confidence in communicating with stakeholders across all levels and backgrounds
- Minimum of 3 years as a Customer Account Manager or Minor works manager with a proven ability in managing high profile fire maintenance contracts including, compliance, quoting & minor project works
- Previous experience managing minor dry and wet fire project works.
- Proven ability to mentor, coach and develop your team.
- Demonstrable emotional intelligence and cultural awareness
- A strong knowledge of AS , AS1670 AS2118 and other industry relevant Australian Standards
- Tertiary education in Frontline Management would be an advantage.
