City of Newcastle (CN) has an exciting opportunity for a qualified and forward-thinking Management Accountant to join our Waste Services Business Unit on a permanent part-time basis working a 21-hour week.
This is a key role for a finance professional who thrives on delivering innovative, intuitive, and smart financial solutions that support strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
As the Management Accountant of Waste Services you'll be responsible for a broad range of financial functions including end-of-month reconciliations, preparation of Council's Annual Financial Statements, development of the Long-Term Financial Plan (LTFP), and Activity-Based Management. Your work will directly support the financial sustainability and performance of our waste operations, including the Summerhill Waste Management Centre.
