In this role, you'll contribute to the success of our clients by:

Crafting strategic plans that align with clients' objectives

Managing end-to-end campaign execution, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes

Owning client relationships — leading communication, renewal conversations, and reporting

Delivering insights and recommendations to optimize campaign performance and investor engagement

Providing market-aware strategic guidance, informed by evolving investor behavior, news flow and client needs

About the role

You will be responsible for managing client accounts, building strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. You will serve as the primary point of contact for your clients, collaborating between departments to deliver exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship & Strategic Management

  • Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with a portfolio of key clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact, addressing client enquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Understand clients' business objectives and market positioning to tailor strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Editorial, and Media teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet client goals.
  • Attend events and conferences on behalf of The Market Link and HotCopper to strengthen client connections and industry insights.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and investor engagement strategies to advise clients with innovative, forward-thinking solutions.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies focused on products delivered through the HotCopper platform, ensuring alignment with client objectives and campaign goals

Renewals Management

  • Manage the end-to-end renewal process to ensure continuity of service and client satisfaction.
  • Initiate renewal conversations at least 90 days before campaign expiry, ensuring ample time for strategic review and planning.

Strategy Planning & Execution

  • Hold kick-off meetings to provide strategic input and client context, setting the tone for successful execution.
  • Oversee delivery milestones, using project management tools (e.g. Salesforce) to track progress, timelines, and budgets.
  • Maintain structured, proactive communication with clients throughout their engagement — including weekly check-ins, monthly reviews, and quarterly strategic updates.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly performance reports and quarterly strategic reports, providing data-driven insights, strategy outcomes, and recommendations for optimization.
  • Monitor and adjust strategy execution to align with evolving client goals, investor sentiment, and market trends.

Platform Management & Operational Excellence

  • Ensure all client data is accurately recorded and maintained in our internal client management platform (Salesforce plus other tools as required)
  • Leverage reporting and dashboard features within these platforms to track client engagement, project milestones, and overall team performance.

Client Reporting & Insights

  • Create client presentations, proposals, and reports that showcase strategic impact and value.
  • Use data and actionable insights to identify growth opportunities and optimise client outcomes.
  • Proactively flag potential issues or risks, offering timely and effective solutions to maintain client trust and retention.
